Violet Lemay has enjoyed a wonderful career as an illustrator and author of books, mostly for children, for over twenty years. She began writing this blog for her students when, in addition to writing and illustrating books, she was a part-time professor of illustration specializing in style development and self promotion—hence, “Professor Violet.” Since then Violet’s career and this blog have evolved.
